Services
Individual Therapy
Adults and adolescents 16+
I use a compassionate and collaborative approach in my work with teens and adults struggling with the following:
disordered eating
body-image issues
low self-esteem
sleep difficulty
anxiety
depression
relationship issues
grief and trauma
We will work together to determine goals for therapy and I will offer you resources and coping skills to support your healing journey outside of the therapy session. I offer both teletherapy and “walk and talks” in nature for those who would like to incorporate the outdoors in their healing journey.
I can assist you in investigating and gently dismantling limiting thoughts, beliefs and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. Additionally, I can help to guide you in discovering your authentic self through cultivating higher levels of awareness and connecting to nature, community, and your values.
Recovery Coaching
Eating Disorder Recovery
Recovery coaching can help individuals strengthen and maintain their recovery at any stage. Having a coach by your side helps to reinforce coping skills and accountability. I assist my clients in fostering mindful awareness, intuitive eating, and balance with food and nutrition. I view food and nutrition as holistic and multi-facted: food is fuel, connection, joy, medicine and so much more.
Over time, disordered eating can lead to hormonal, vitamin, and mineral imbalances and deficiencies so I often will recommend working with a holistic medical practitioner as a part of the treatment plan.
Coaching includes a customized plan that incorporates all or some of the following categories on a weekly or as needed basis:
-mealtime support
-grocery shopping support
-seasonal eating guidance
-spirituality/mindfulness
-weekly meal planning
-consultation with treatment team
-intuitive eating coaching
Sleep Coaching
A Happier, Healthier You
There's nothing more frustrating than tossing and turning all night only to realize the sun is beginning to rise. Difficulty falling asleep, waking up too early, frequently waking up throughout the night--all of these manifestations of sleep disturbance can take a toll on a person and lead to chronic physical and psychological adversity.
Sleep issues are typically impacted by the following 3 categories:
biology
psychology
environment
I work with my clients to create a customized coaching plan that addresses improving physical health through diet and movement, proper supplementation, shifting thoughts and beliefs about sleep, implementing new habits with technology, improving the sleep environment, EMF mitigation strategies, and improving circadian rhythm functioning.
I work with natural medicine doctors and practitioners and connect my clients to resources to support a holistic and comprehensive approach to wellness.
